For those so inclined, an initiation will be held in the afternoon from 14:00-16:00, for an additional €10.

To ensure that the evening is as authentic as possible, the dresscode for this ball is 1830-1839 evening attire. Therefore, Regency dresses as well as crinolines/hoop-skirts will not be allowed. While caps and turbans are appropriate, hats, bonnets and boots are not, as these are considered day wear/outerwear. We reserve the right to refuse access to anyone failing to meet the dresscode.

There will be a bar with drinks and finger food for you to enjoy throughout the evening. Please note that the refreshments are not intended to constitute an evening meal. We do, however, have some excellent recommendations for you: there is a grill restaurant (Ribhouse Texas) and a pancake restaurant (Pannenkoekenhuis) nearby, as well as a supermarket across the street, which is opened until 19:00.

After the initiation, the chapel will be closed between 16:00-19:30 for the preparation of the ball. We kindly ask you not to leave any personal items or luggage at the venue during this time: you will not be able to access them until the ball commences. Due to restricted space we will unfortunately not be able to offer a changing or dressing room for our guests.

As the chapel is located in a residential area, we ask you to conduct yourself accordingly.
There are a few places where you can park your carriage next to the chapel. Otherwise please park on the right side of the road (Enkweg) facing down from the main road (Rijksstraatweg)
